IHSDTA Coach of the Year Award
One of the purposes of the IHSDTA is to recognize, honor, and award people in our profession who have excelled in their respective dance team leadership position.
To be considered for an award, nominees must be a current member of the IHSDTA and have worked in the profession for at least five years. Coach of the year must be nominated by fellow IHSDTA member coaches, judges, board of directors or their school administration. Parents and dancers cannot nominate Coach of the year.
The Coach of the Year will receive a contemporary art design award presented at State Finals. The IHSDTA will also feature their accomplishments on social media.
Nominations are due each year by December 31.
To nominate a person for the Coach of the Year, please complete the online nomination form which includes a written statement of no more than 500 words explaining why this person should be considered.
Parents and dancers cannot nominate Coach of the year. Nominees can be Coaches, judges or administrators.
